I Hate Cancer

I’m not writing this blog just to vent about a disease that makes me angry. I’m turning my frustration into resolution. I want to share a short story with you. When I was 24 years old I felt a strong leading in my spirit to go to the doctor. I didn’t hear an audible voice. The only way I can describe it is, it was a repeated thought that I needed to go the doctor. It made me nervous because I knew it was the Holy Spirit and He wouldn’t tell me to go to the doctor for no reason. Long story short, my doctor said that I had come at the right time. They found pre-cancerous cells in my body that needed to come out right away. The reason this story is short is because I simply followed the leading of the Holy Spirit. I’m starting to believe that the only weapon we have against this sneaky disease, is the Holy Spirit. He WILL tell you when something is wrong. Since all disease comes from the spirit realm and is a spiritual attack, only the Spirit can detect it before anyone else. Stay in communion with the Holy Spirit. Have an open ear and heart to Him at all times. We’ve all missed His voice before. I have definitely have misheard Him or neglected His promptings. But He knows ALL THINGS. He cares about you and He wants you to be well. He was given to us as gift from Jesus to lead and guide us. Learn to listen to follow Him. The more you follow Him, the easier it is to hear when He is speaking.
