Pastor Mike probably talked about this in Relationship Goals. I’m learning that 80% of couples that shack up before marriage don’t make it. So I did some research, I talked to people that know more than me, looked for scriptures (1 Thess 5:22), I asked my peers what they thought. When you’re single, saved, and in love, you do everything in your power to stay within the perimeters God made and at the same time flow naturally into love. So, when it’s really love and not a fling, real couples are asking.. “Why can’t we be together 24/7?”
The honest, simple answer is.. we don’t understand half the Bible sometimes, we just obey God anyway. We just trust that He knows best. When there’s not a lot of scriptures about it, we just listen to wise counsel. Also, discipline is something that will carry over and you’ll need even in marriage.
